We are a group of students and teachers from Menlo School in Atherton California. We will be visiting India for three weeks in June and July.
Our goal is to learn more about Indian religion, history, language and culture. To experience the country first hand and to engage with Indian people directly through home stay and NGO service work. Students will spend the bulk of their time learning about Ranikhet and work to contribute to addressing pressing issues at the local level.
Our first few days will be in New Delhi, then we'll have a few days in Rishikesh, and finally we will be in Ranikhet for two weeks doing our home stay and NGO service work with the Pan-Himalyan Grassroots Development Organization.
For additional trip information, please see the Menlo School web site and the Google map. For related information, or contact while we in India, please contact Peter Brown at Menlo School.
